Joomla! Security Warnings and Upgrades are periodically released by the Joomla! Project, whichever Joomla! platform you are using.

To keep abreast of Joomla! developments we recommend that clients register with The Joomla! Project.

You will then be notified by email whenever a Joomla! upgrade or security release becomes available.

The email will contain outline instructions for how to proceed. More information will also be published at The Joomla! Project.

Third Party Joomla! Extension Security Updates

If you or Wynchcote (on your behalf) installs a third party Joomla! extension (Example: JCE Content Editor), then you are also advised to:

1) register with the extension developer to receive their updates and/or,

2) regularly visit their website to check for security releases.

We advise clients to always upgrade to the latest security release as soon as possible - after first backing up your site.

What does our Joomla! Upgrade Service include?

This service includes:

1) database backup prior to undertaking the security upgrade;

2) implementation of the Joomla! upgrade (one Joomla! upgrade or one third party extension upgrade).

How much does the service cost?

The current price will be displayed when clients select Product Addons from the main menu in our Online Store after first logging into their Client Area.
