Random Image Module
Written by Administrator

If you are reading this then you have just clicked on the image in the left margin of this demonstration webmag.

This image is controlled by a 'random image module' which has been positioned here in case you would like to add your organisation symbol or logo to the webmag.

Why would you use an image like this?

Maybe you have purchased a license to use several copies of the webmag - each to be edited by a different group and having its own personality. In this situation you might want to:

1) link each webmag back to your organisation's main website;

2) inform readers that the webmag is run by members or associates of your organisation.

You may wish instead to draw the attention of your readers to a special feature of this latest edition of your webmag.

Does the image have to be displayed?

No - you can simply unpublish the module by logging into your webmag Admin Panel.

Can we use different images in different parts of the webmag?

Yes. The module can be copied as many times as you wish and you can assign each one to present different sets of images in different parts of your webmag.

For example, you may want one image to be presented on the Inside Cover page in the 'Latest News 4' position, and another on the Editorial Page of the Sports Section. Such a link could be to the external site of a sponsor.

Why is it called 'random image?

It will display a different image each time someone visits your webmag, or if you only have one image.
